The Attic is pulling in Savannah, Georgia’s Zach Deputy for a two-night stint that kicks off Friday.

Deputy’s music is almost indescribable, but he does the best job by calling it “island-infused drum n’ bass gospel ninja soul.” You can hear some of that ninja soul on his newly released cover of “Let It Snow” which will surely make an appearance at one or both shows. Beyond his unique genre-ignoring style, Deputy also treats his performances as a musical experiment with live looping to create his in-person songs.

After this week’s Music Week previews were sent to the printer, a rep for The Attic told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the venue will operate at 60% capacity for the show, meaning attendance will be capped at 125 people for each show.

Zach Deputy, Fri. Dec. 4 and Sat. Dec 5. 7 p.m. $20. The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing, Ybor City. theatticyborcity.com
