Down by the River

New Port Richey's annual Cotee River Seafood Festival & Bright House Boat Show just keeps on growin'. This year, it's a two-day event packed with music, family-oriented arts and crafts, boating and fishing seminars, a photography contest, a live shark exhibit, a car show and a freakin' raft race. Oh, and apparently there's seafood and a boat show, too. Saturday's music program is titled "Blues by the River," and features acts like Damon Fowler, Smokin' Joe Kubek and B'nois King; Sunday's "Rockin' by the River" consists of oldies, doo-wop and early rock 'n' roll for the parents.
