After scaling back due to the pandemic, Hillsborough Area Regional Transit will now restore 95% of its pre-coronavirus services starting Nov. 15.

This includes the standard local bus along with the TECO Line Streetcar system, according to a HART press release. Express and limited express and HARTFlex routes will remain out of service.

The services were initially reduced in March due to the pandemic and have been operating on a modified Sunday schedule since August.

"It is critically important to restore frequency on local routes throughout Hillsborough County to ensure that our customers and the communities we serve continue to rely on HART to take them to places that enhance their lives," said Interim Chief Executive Officer Ruthie Reyes Burckard.

Route 275LX will operate between the Wiregrass Park-and-Ride and the University Area Transit Center only. Route 360LX is operating regularly.

HART will continue to require riders to wear face coverings and enforce staggered seating and regular cleaning.

“Restored frequency will provide our customers confidence to ride knowing local route schedules will return to pre-COVID levels,” Burckard said.

As changes are implemented, riders can stay up to date by checking HART’s website.
