Last we saw Akiva, the funk and pop band was socially-distancing while waiting to play its set as part of a summertime, livestreamed, audience-free 10th anniversary celebration for Rock the Park Tampa (pictured).

On Saturday night, however, the fusion trio is asking fans to come catch a buzz (coffee, Angry Chair beer) and help the band release its new album. Music, food, merch and COVID-19 rules are all on the agenda from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at this show happening on the Spaddy’s patio.

Akiva: Fundraising with Funk. Friday, Oct. 23, 6 p.m. Donations accepted. Spaddy’s Coffee Co., Tampa. INFO.
