Tampa Bay artists will rock for RAICES at Fubar in St. Petersburg

Punk, electro and hip-hop come together for the kids.

Borders — and the enforcement of the one surrounding this land that’s supposed to be for the poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free — are creating waves in the news and wreaking havoc on families being split up as they arrive from Mexico (in case you missed it: thousands of children have been separated from their families under Trump’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy).

DO SOMETHING
Activists have U-locked themselves to each other outside the doors of Tampa’s Homeland Security, ICE offices

A collective of Bay area punk rock, electro and hip-hop bands are coming together to do something about it at this fundraiser show where proceeds will go to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (aka RAICES), which is a Texas nonprofit that provides legal services to immigrants. It’s $5 at the door, and you’ll have a chance to donate more once you walk in.
