Dunedin rapper Jon Ditty, Stick Martin play concert hall at New World Brewery this weekend

The duo plays Tampa on Friday, Oct. 23.

On Monday, I received an email listing off about 30 concerts set to happen at New World Brewery through Feb. 28. The message kicked the run of shows off with this one featuring Dunedin rapper, and multiple Best Of the Bay-winner Jon Ditty (pictured) joining songwriter-producer Stick Martin for a hip-hop show in the NWB music hall. Coppertail is going to give away free beer to the first 20 people in the door, and staff at New World has a message for anyone who thinks they can skirt COVID-19 precautions at the gig

“In a continuous effort to maintain as safe as an establishment as possible, we are keeping our capacity to 25% with all tables spaced appropriately and guests must be seated to be served. We require masks to be worn at all times unless seated and consuming food or beverage (yes, this includes trips to the restroom),” NWB wrote. “Tables, chairs, menus, checkbooks, pens, glassware and anything else touched is immediately sanitized and allowed to properly dry before it is used again. Masks are required for performers when not onstage.”

Jon Ditty w/Stick Martin. Fri. Oct. 23, 7:45 p.m. $7. New World Brewery, Tampa. Get more information on the gig, and the entire NWB calendar, here.

Tampa Bay venues and promoters need you to bug Marco Rubio about saving the live music scene.
