Seminole Heights is getting a new sports bar next week.

The Heights Sports Bar & Bistro will open June 15, in the former and now closed London Heights British Pub location, at 7701 N. Nebraska Ave.

The new owners told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the space has received a near total facelift and a new menu. The menu focuses on traditional, made-from-scratch bar grub like burgers, wings and fish and chips, but also touches on more international twists like curries, jambalaya, and bangers and mash.

Co-owner Sean Champ, who previously worked with Old School Bar and Grill, Treehouse, WTR and others, says The Heights Sports Bar & Bistro will start serving regular weekend brunch starting June 20, with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary specials, as well as live music every weekend.

The Heights Sports Bar & Bistro now joins the area's other sports bar, Social House, which opened in April of last year.
