After the comparatively old-school blast of opener "Sycophant," the band formerly known as Chest Rockwell settles into a more inherently melodic style influenced by Gainesville's grit-throated punk scene. Nothing here is terribly original, but great guitar tones, an engagingly unhinged enthusiasm and solidly crafted tunes like "A Modest Proposal, Part Two," "Dead Dialect" and the taut "Stop-And-Go" lift No Truth Lies above the status of generic a punk 'n' roll purveyor. A fun, energetic and ultimately satisfying first outing. 3 stars
