St. Petersburg restaurant Naked Farmer will add a second location in Tampa on Friday.
The healthy-forward concept’s new addition will be housed in Sparkman Wharf, an outdoor waterfront market and food court located at 615 Channelside Dr.
The restaurant will be open for pick up, walk up, delivery, and catering via its website.
Sample menu items include the pecan kale caesar, a red-wine braised short rib, and the watermelon mint and feta salad. Naked Farmer’s essential mission is to become 100% locally sourced.
“We are honored to be joining the community of Sparkman Wharf,” said Naked Farmer Founder Jordan Johnson in a press release. “We look forward to bringing fresh food at an affordable price point to the community while working with local farms across the state to build a better food system.”
This new opening announcement comes as cases surge in Florida and Tampa Bay. The Tampa Bay area added 1,814 cases and 10 deaths Wednesday, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Tampa Bay restaurants are also closing their indoor dining rooms to halt the spread of coronavirus.
