This Saturday, Feb. 29, the Tampa Taco Fest aka the largest taco festival in Tampa Bay is back at Al Lopez Park.

From 10 a.m.-6 p.m., attendees can eat their way through the nearly 40 food vendors including Jimmy's Tacos, Nueva Cantina and Zukku Sushi. Oh, and there are free margarita tastings.

There are also set to be a handful of non-food vendors on-site from Tito's Handmade Vodka and Don Julio Tequila to other booths like Top Golf and Orange Theory Fitness.

"Last year we had close to 75 [vendors], hoping to be around there this year," Yisenia Abrahantes, a Tampa Taco Fest manager, told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. "We don't have an exact number as we are still finalizing some."

Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the gate. Spring for VIP and you have access to on-site parking, a separate VIP entrance, a private tent with seating, two alcoholic beverages from the VIP bar, two tacos, access to unlimited salsa and chip bar, and unlimited coffee. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult.

Just a heads up, this event is going down rain or shine, so make sure to keep an umbrella handy. Grab your lawn chairs and pet to soak in all eight eight hours of the festival, but leave the coolers at home as they are not permitted. By the way, ATMs will be on-site so don't sweat stopping for cash on the way.

Al Lopez Park is located at 4810 N. Himes Ave. Tampa. Tickets are available through 813tacofest.com.

UPDATED 09/13/21 3:446 p.m. Updated with vendor details from Yisenia Abrahantes.
