People love to complain about Live Nation ticket fees, but the concert promotions giant is making it simple to buy tickets to concerts on the cheap during National Concert Week (NCW).
Like it did last year, Live Nation is making select tickets available for just $20 flat — no fees, no nada — while supplies last. Tampa Bay highlights on the 2019 list include Nas & Mary J. Blige, Beck with Cage the Elephant, The Who, Zac Brown Band and more.
There are even tickets to the Interpol and Speedy Ortiz show next Wednesday.
A big question from last year’s NCW promo was whether or not concertgoers requiring ADA accommodations would be included.
A spokesperson for Live Nation Florida told CL that the lawn at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater is already ADA accessible, and that any concertgoers who purchase reserved $20 seating may swap their reserved seat for an ADA one on day of show, based on availability.
For ADA seat accommodations at Amalie Arena, these $20 tickets will follow the venue's typical policy of accommodating an ADA swap on the day of the event based on availability.
"We try to accommodate everyone," an Amalie spokesperson told CL.
CL has reached out to officials at Mahaffey Theater to see what their ADA Live Nation $20 ticket policy is.
