The latest art-show-in-a-non-art-show-setting is The5: an Industrial Chic Presentation. This single-night, multimedia exhibit takes place in an active warehouse and features vibrant cubist art with a Caribbean flavor by Zard Tompkins; computer-generated modern abstracts by Wil Dawson; impressionistic landscapes, still-lifes and portraits by Gainor Roberts; classically modern figures and other mixed-media works by Martin F. Hennigan; and large-scale sculptures by Kumpa Tawornprom. Nearly 100 pieces are on display, and attendees are also treated to live music by Angel for Blues, wine, cheese, live demonstrations and talks with the artists.
