You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you’re watching something dangerous? Maybe when you’re about to die in a video game? Well, Bit Brigade brings that experience to life.

“Maestro” Noah McCarthy mans a NES-gamepad controller while four Bit Brigade bandmates play a game’s soundtrack live right behind him. Tampeños can watch McCarthy work his way through robot masters while the 8-bit band plays the tunes of “Mega Man 3” live at Lowry Parcade. This is the first and, likely, only time the band will be playing the game in Florida, so don’t hesitate to giga crush a few people for tickets, which are $10 in advance and at the door.

Bit Brigade. Fri. Feb. 28, 7 p.m. $10 & up. Lowry Parcade, 1213 W. Waters Ave., Tampa. INFO
