This World Cup commentator's Aerosmith reference is the real MVP

Jorge Perez-Navarro and Mariano Trujillo should call every game.

Denmark is currently locked into a nil-nil tie with World Cup 2018 darling (and dark horse) Peru, but the match has already produced an MVP.

Jorge Perez-Navarro and Mariano Trujillo — who are actually calling the game from Fox Sports' Los Angeles studio — have been a joy to listen to, and Perez-Navarro dropped an observation on the action.

"This reminds me of an Aerosmith song," he said during the matches 41st minute. "I don't wanna close my eyes."

Perez-Navarro is a polarizing play-by-play guy who has called a wide variety of sports events, including FIFA World Cups, Copa América championships, Copa MX tournaments and several CONCACAF qualifiers, but not everyone loves "The Spanish Voice of Soccer in the United States."

UPDATE: He just dropped another Aerosmith reference to "Dream On" in the 56th minute. Someone post a video.

We're guessing that most of the television audience — including Perez-Navarro's broadcasting partner Mariano Trujillo — love it.

Never change, Jorge.
