Twista’s “Slow Jamz” came on the radio recently, and I quickly realized that there still aren’t many rappers who can’t spit with the speed and precision of world-record holder Twista, who became a veritable overnight celebrity back in the early aughts after he appeared on “Po Pimp” by Do or Die. The 45-year-old Chicago native plays The Ritz’s throwback Thursday series.
