It’s been seven years since the band played Capitol Theatre, and when Big Bad Voodoo Daddy arrives in Clearwater it’ll also be celebrating its own 25th anniversary. The retro swing band’s self-titled, self-released debut arrived in 1994, and the excitement of BBVD’s fusion of jazz, rock and dixieland hasn’t grown old in the slightest. This may be a seated theater set, but don’t be surprised if some dancing breaks out in the aisles. (Capitol Theatre, Clearwater) INFO
