Einstein Bros. Bagels plans to launch Caribou Coffee shops inside its Tampa-area bagelries later this week. To celebrate the marriage of carbs and caffeine, the first 25 people in line at the Colorado-based bagel chain’s Palm Harbor location on Friday, Nov. 2, will receive free premium coffee and fresh-baked bagels for one year.

Don’t feel like camping out for the 5 a.m. giveaway? Patrons can show up anytime during regular business hours for a bagel and a medium-size drip coffee on the house.

Locally, all outposts for Einstein Bros. will also offer $2 mochas and lattes for a limited time.

According to a statement from Einstein Bros. president Tyler Ricks, good coffee is important to the chain’s guests.

“The introduction of the Caribou Coffee brand into Einstein Bros. Bagels is just another way for us to bring quality menu items to our guests,” Ricks continued. “Now you don’t have to choose between a great coffee experience and a great breakfast sandwich, you can have both.”

Caribou sources beans certified by the Rainforest Alliance and roasts them in small batches. Through the end of 2018, the Minnesota-based chain of coffeehouses will keep expanding into Einstein Bros. locations nationwide.

“The Caribou Coffee brand was built on customer loyalty and now, more than 25 years later, we are thrilled to be opening stores inside Einstein Bros. Bagels for the ultimate guest experience,” said John Butcher, president of Caribou.
