Dwarves w/Richie Ramone A lot can happen in 30-plus years. Just ask the Dwarves. The Chicago-punks initially got infamous thanks to a love of drugs, occasional onstage sex, self-mutilation and faking a band member’s death, but frontman Blag Dahlia (aka Julius Seizure) and longtime guitarist HeWhoCannotBeNamed (aka Pete Vietnam Cheque) survived and a grew up a little on the way to becoming one of the longer-running punk bands of the generation. All the while, the Dwarves maintained a commitment to living outside of the band’s musical comfort zone and earning the love of fans who’ve come to appreciate Blag’s no-bullshit approach to life and the band’s high-speed brand of crude hard crock. Richie Ramone, who played with the Ramones for five years in the mid-80s, opens the show. (Orpheum, Ybor City) INFO
