This weekend we will see whether or not “Bar Rescue" host Jon Taffer yells “SHUT IT DOWN” at the Buffalo City Bar and Grille in St. Petersburg.

The popular Paramount Network reality show recently visited the Tampa Bay watering hole, and now the episode is set to premiere this Sunday, August 11, at 10 p.m.

According to Paramount, experienced restaurateur and bar owner Jon Taffer will help the BCBG owner keep her deceased father’s bar and restaurant alive. At one point in the preview Taffer can be seen tossing some uncooked chicken around in the kitchen. “You smell that?” asks Taffer to the cook. “The chicken stinks,” says the bar owner. “Of course it does,” says Taffer. “THAT WOULD’VE BEEN SERVED.”

For those of you unfamiliar with “Bar Rescue,” every episode follows a specific template where Taffer and his crew set up cameras at a struggling bar, they send in a spy to experience sub-par service, and then he eventually barges in like a raging lunatic, smashes glasses and plates, and tells some poor schlub to “SHUT IT DOWN.”

He then completely revamps the menu, re-trains the staff, remodels the bar entirely (aka adds a shit ton of TVs), and has a heart-to-heart or screaming match with the bar owner(s) in a slightly touching way.
