Due Amici is looking for guinea pigs to sample its line of Italian sauces during a free blind taste test.

Planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, the taste test gives patrons the opportunity to try ingredients used in some of the Ybor City pizza restaurant’s signature dishes — and help out a good cause. For every participating guest in attendance, Due Amici will make a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.

Tomato, arrabbiata, marinara and pizza — which were researched, tested and perfected more than a century ago — are the Due Amici Sauces in the spotlight. San Marzano tomatoes are sourced from Italy, while the coast of Sicily provides the line’s natural sea salt.

Throughout the night, hors d’oeurves are served as guests enjoy sauce samples and live music.
