As promised, Amalie Arena (stylized "AMALIE") is debuting a brand spankin' new Cigar City taproom next week below the Pam Iorio Parking Garage.

Being that Cigar City has been dubbed the official craft beer of the Tampa Bay Lightning, hockey fans have access to signature CCB brews like Jai Alai, Guayabera and Florida Cracker in the vast amounts of concessions throughout the arena.

Although Amalie Arena officials have yet to confirm an official opening date, but a spokesperson told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the taproom would be open within the next week. We're hoping the taproom will be pouring cold ones during the battle against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, December 14.

By the way, more perks of the Amalie-CCB partnership include Amalie hosting Cigar City’s 2020 Hunahpu’s Beer Festival, set for March 13, which was formerly held in the Raymond James' parking lot.

More taproom details to come when an official opening date is announced.
