In case you missed it, there was another GOP presidential debate that aired last night. This one was again devoted to foreign policy on CNN. And it was perhaps the best, least offensive two hours with the candidates this year.
A day after we learned that Jim Norman won't be going to jail for his financial "gift" of half a million dollars that he received from the late Ralph Hughes, both local dailies are giving the state Senator no quarter in their lead editorials today. Meanwhile, we examine whether the Hillsborough/Pasco County Democratic parties have any chance of nominating a candidate that Norman might take seriously when he runs for re-election in a year's time.
And tomorrow is Thanksgiving. One of our favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers, are also the surprise team of the NFL as they take on Baltimore in the evening game. 5 of the 6 teams that will play are playoff contenders, making it one of the best line up of games on Turkey Day ever.
