"All Hands on Deck": Pick up the phone for the Gulf today

The Surfrider Foundation's 'Not the Answer' campaign has been working to help Gulf residents and ecosystems before and after the April BP oil spill disaster — and we will not stop until a full resolution is reached.

Currently, we are doing chapter sponsored water testing, and partnering with several local organizations to find the truth. Today, we join forces with hundreds, if not thousands of people, to make a difference.

Please call Congress and tell your representative that the Gulf needs a Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council. The main reason: to help prevent future disasters and get the Clean Water Act fines paid by BP which should go toward restoring the coast.

Simply call the United States Capitol switchboard (202-224-3121), ask for your Senator and then ask for your Congressperson.
