Bits and Pieces of artistic genius

Tempus Projects' current exhibitions displays a range of experience and style

See works in all media, from ceramic to painting to drawing, sculpture, photography and video at Tempus Projects' new show, curated by Gregory Green and Neil Bender. The collection has been given an artistic octane of "SuperTest" by gallery owner Tracy Midulla-Reller. She says it explores the dynamics between artists of varying career success. Participants range from the local to the regional to New York and beyond. Curiosities such as 19th century anatomical engravings and erotic Japanese ink drawings commingle with Richard Kern video images and Trenton Doyle Hancock prints. Also showing: Nan Goldin, Kallie LeFave, Jenny Holzer, Anthony Lepore, Karen Havens, Jim Barsness (whose work is pictured here) and several others. The gallery is also issuing a call for submissions for its June show, Shelved, a small-scale sculpture event. tempus-projects.com.
