Herman Cain takes on "mainstream, lamestream, lapdog media" as his Truth Tour hits Tampa

Although he quit the 2011-2012 GOP presidential race a month before the Iowa caucuses, Herman Cain's quixotic journey for the White House continues to pay him dividends.

Still revered by economic conservatives who loved his "9-9-9" tax reform plan, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO will replace Atlanta based talk show host Neal Boortz this January. Cain is now in the third week of his 30-day, 30-city Truth Tour, which came to the Waterside Marriott hotel in Tampa on Wednesday afternoon.

Cain told a ballroom full of about 150 people that his mission is to set them straight and countervail what he deemed the, "mainstream, lamestream, laptog media," which he said is full of slanted information, distortions and outright lies.

In that category are CBS, ABC, NBC and CNN, but not MSNBC, who he said doesn't even deserve to be mentioned.
