The Florida Senate may vote on Thursday on SB 2086, the election reform bill which would reduce the amount of early voting days from 14 to 10 and the end of practice of allowing voters to file name and address changes at the polls on Election Day (Some media reports say the early voting days would be reduced to 8).

However, the sponsor of the bill in the Senate, Miguel Diaz de la Portilla, has maintained for the last week that the same amount of actual early voting time - 96 hours - would remain as it has been since 2004.
