Don't Stop St. Petersburg confirms a new date and modified location

The lineup of 30+ bands is still TBA, but tickets go on sale this Friday.

The St. Pete music and arts festival otherwise known as Don't Stop St. Petersburg has finally confirmed the date of the third annual event — Small Business Saturday, November 28 — and revealed its slight move up Central from the 600 Block and its surrounding locales to the Grand Central District.

Billed as a "curated, open-air music festival showcasing 30+ regional and local artists," the 2015 festival will features local vendors and live performers from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.  No word yet on the actual venues, but the team of local live music lovers in charge of this event (in partnership with local nonprofits Operation Coexist, Hannah’s Homeless and Public Art Project) intend to "illuminate the power of music in public spaces to revitalize areas, inspire dialogue and unite our community—while cultivating new standards of music excellence and reflecting St. Petersburg’s creative and vibrant spirit."

A lineup announcement is set to occur next week at the Don't Stop St. Pete website (don't worry, we'll keep you posted here, too). If you're betting on it being a good one, you can snag your tickets starting this Fri., Oct. 16, at Daddykool.com.
