Photo review: Rock the Park 3 with Have Gun Will Travel, Poetry 'n Lotion, and Acho Brother

A cool October breeze graced the Bay area this Thursday evening, and paired with great live local music and a scenic environment, it made for a high-quality evening out.

The Thursday evening Rock the Park outdoor concert series had been from Curtis Hixon Park to the directly-adjacent Kiley Park. The small grass-and-concrete-checkered expanse provided a great backdrop for the night's music — a selection that ranged from Acho Brother's cool Latin folk style, to Poetry 'n Lotion's multi-influenced progressive-meets-oldtimey sound, to Have Gun, Will Travel's energetic Americana vibe.

The pictures reflect some of the highlights of the evening — Tampa Bay Lightning cheerleaders giving away free tickets to the Stone Temple Pilots show, impromptu drum solos that arose after a brief power shortage, and local folks generally relaxing and having a grand old time on the Tampa waterfront.
