An anticipated downtown Tampa concept isn't letting Tropical Storm Hermine ruin its grand opening weekend.
Though Franklin Manor, the indoor-outdoor social drinkery, patio and live music brainchild of Lanfranco Pescante and David Anderson, did move a private VIP unveiling to next week, its three-day premiere will go on as planned at 912 and 914 N. Franklin St.
Franklin Manor is a "post-modern twist on a timeless Americana venue," as Anderson puts it. Guests can expect a high-end cocktail list inside, top-notch entertainment and casual drinks mixed with easy-to-eat fare (handheld items and baskets) on the large outdoor patio.
During opening weekend, the new neighborhood hangout will operate from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday.
