Okay, back to the news. House Republicans unveiled their "Pledge With America" yesterday, and it's getting predictably poor reviews from Democrats, but surprisingly, also from fellow conservatives.
Marco Rubio has had a week of devastatingly bad stories written in the local press in the Tampa Bay area. Now he intends to sell himself on CBS' Face The Nation Sunday, where we're hoping that the venerable Bob Schieffer will deliver some high heat, and not softballs, to the GOP senate candidate.
And there was a good ole' fashioned whipping of light rail Wednesday night in Tampa, where a couple of national critics unveiled their reasons why they think Hillsborough's proposal is a loser.
