In Tampa, toast to the Volstead Act’s demise alongside the local chapter of the United States Bartenders’ Guild. Their ninth annual Repeal Day Gala — which features a circus theme complete with aerial acrobatics and fire acts — is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.
The grand culmination of the multiday Repeal Day Conference invites industry experts and cocktail nerds to enjoy specialty libations, food and live performances in Ybor City while donning 1920s to ’30s attire. Guests can expect 11 bars, including two private speakeasies, spread out across the four-floor Cuban Club.
