Hey, it's a slow Thursday, and it has started to rain — finally! A few random thoughts:
— Love that three-armed baby picture and story on page 2 of tbt* this morning. "It's just good investigative reporting," explained Jeff Goldblum.
— Short List nominee:
MAYOR BAKER'S HURRICANE SPEECH
"We're rounding up all the homeless in downtown. In a hurricane, they can become high-velocity projectiles."
— Gotta check out the Tampa Trib's editorial whine, "What's Jeb Got Against Tampa?" Other than the fact that its mayor is a Democrat with a reputation of not even helping out candidates in her own party, not to mention Republicans like Jeb? Or is the point that the Trib now supports pork that is actually a bait-and-switch turkey, since the cash in the budget was earmarked for the Riverwalk but was really going to be split and half of it diverted to build a new parking garage for the Tampa Bay Lightning?
