Clearwater-based quartet Four Star Riot has spent the past five years playing/creating accessible power-pop that has landed the band on bills with everyone from Lit to Bon Jovi. FSR's recently released fourth album, Burn So Bright, is well executed — free of false notes and laughable lyrics. But save for the loose, gruff, slightly twangy "Still My Girl," the album lacks the verve and reckless abandon essential to truly memorable rock 'n' roll. 2.5 stars
