The majority of us probably don’t correlate chamber music as hot or fierce, but the Calidore String Quartet is challenging the stereotype. They will be performing
Calidore String Quartet
Multer told me that PCP is a group of high-level musicians he assembled and formed mostly coming from New York City. Their season is almost ending, but PCP is happy to feature Calidore as the last performance in this season’s series. Calidore, according to Multer, gives an incredible concert and is quickly gaining world fame. The quartet includes Estelle Choi on the cello, Jeffrey Myers on violin, Jeremy Berry on viola and Ryan Meehan, St. Pete's native, also on violin. PCP's own pianist, Jeewon Park, will guest with the group. Multer’s final words were that his goal as an artistic director is to commit the music that people want to hear.
This is your chance to see Calidore String Quartet before they’re headlining world tours. Normally, tickets for this show would cost around $300... but PCP tickets start at $22. Don’t miss out on the chance to say, “I saw them first.”
P.S., Multer may have slipped that he’s about to announce next season’s dates, so keep your eyes and ears open.
