12 Girls Band — a 13-member group in truth — is an all-female ensemble that plays ancient Chinese compositions and Western classical and pop music using traditional East Asian instruments. Their repertoire includes anything from pieces by Handel and Beethoven to Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" and the theme from Titanic.
