Hey, all you Facebook users looking for something to do tonight — especially those among you who are unattached: Carrollwood Players are giving away free tickets to their new comedy, Looking.
All you have to do is like the photo on this page before 4 p.m. today for a chance to win two tickets to the opening night show at 8 p.m. The tickets include a special Singles Mingle event beforehand.
Written by Canadian playwright Norm Foster, Looking is about two single women and two single men looking for a relationship later in life. The play stars Eric Misener, Kym Welch, Carl Canestrano and Krista Jerome. Dawn Kidle directs.
We're told that Foster’s script doesn’t just cater just to the ladies. (By the way, what is the theatrical equivalent of chick flick — a "ho show"?) Suffice it to say, both men and women should enjoy the play.
Looking runs March 20–April 4. Show times are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $20, $17 for students, seniors and military. Call 813-265-4000 or visit carrollwoodplayers.org.
