Cubic Zirconia, Follow Your Heart (Fool's Gold Records)
The NYC trio purvey a cosmic, futuristic mix of R&B, soul, house music and experimental pop; this is the physical release of their debut LP, which features guest appearances by Dam Funk, Drop The Lime and Bilal. Check out the retrovideo for "Take Me High" after the jump; director Tiombe Lockhart (also the group's lead singer) shows you how a velvet curtain, fur coat and some back up dancers take a great song to greater heights.
