Odds are, you’ve seen the inside of more than one Ybor building. At Buildings Alive! Ybor City Architecture Hop, you’ll have the chance to take a rubber-wheeled trolley to (and wander through) this historic city’s cultural gems not typically open to the public, including the The Cuban Club, José Marti Park, La Segunda Central Bakery, Moon Over Havana Gallery, Swope Rodante Law Firm in the Florida Brewery building, and Ybor Square (home of the original Ybor cigar factory, where both Creative Loafing and the Church of Scientology will offer different (and audit-free) experiences. The event inclues food and drink samples. Who knows? Perhaps some of the buildings have ghost stories, too — like our building, where, when it's dark and quiet, you sometimes hear tiny meows. $45. March 10, 5 p.m. Ybor City Museum, 1818 9th Ave., Tampa. 813-247-6323. ybormuseum.org.
