St. Petersburg's Halloween 'Spooky Pup Crawl' benefits Friends of Strays

It goes down on October 26.

Best of the Bay 2019 Readers' Pick for Best Local Blogger, I Love the Burg, is hosting a downtown St. Petersburg Spooky Pup Crawl on October 26, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit local not-for-profit no-kill animal shelter Friends of Strays.

Crawlers should assemble at 3 p.m. and check-in at Pinellas Ale Works. Wristbands for the event let crawlers get in on beer specials at all stops, which include Right Around the Corner Arcade Brewery and 3 Daughters Brewing.

Water bowls for your four-legged date will be provided at each stop, and there's a costume contest for humans and dogs.

Advance tickets are $25 per human ($40 on day of), and there's no extra fee for pups, so you can basically bring as many dogs as you can keep tame on the leash (just try not to look like a scene out of 101 Dalmatians). More information on this adorable event is available via eventbrite.com
