An Ohio grand jury followed the prosecutors' lead and declined to indict the cops who shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice two seconds after rolling up on him outside a Cleveland rec center. They found "the evidence did not indicate criminal conduct by police." So at least some folks are still presumed innocent under certain circumstances...
Citrus County cops arrested a woman for riding through a Lecanto Walmart on a motorized shopping cart, drinking wine and eating sushi and cinnamon rolls, ostensibly after shooting meth. Obviously there's something weird going on here — nobody wants sushi after shooting meth.
And finally, Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister passed away at the age of 70 following a series of health issues. He was one of the original contemporary rock 'n' roll outlaws, and his influence on rock, punk and metal cannot be overstated. Somewhere, there's a newborn baby laying in a neonatal unit right now, jonesing for a cigarette and composing an assaultive sonic masterpiece.
