Late last month, Old-School Bar and Grill was rounding up its service team at 2202 W. Kennedy Blvd. Now the spot is officially up and running.
The music joint offers Tampa Bay another hideout for listening to live performances while drinking at full bar and hosts a Thursday ladies night where women drink select wines, drafts and house cocktails for free from 10 p.m.-1 a.m.
The food menu is loaded with typical bar bites like wings, buffalo chicken dip, cheese fries, as well as, wagyu beef corn dogs and chicharrones. There's also a section of the menu labeled "No F*#cks" loaded with sandos like a Kimchi Bacon Bulgogi, Cuban, and lobster roll. Old School is even jumping on the hot chicken train with a sandwich made with buttermilk marinated chicken thighs, housemade pickles, housemade ranch and "mama's slaw."
Diners can also snag flatbreads, bowls, salads, sliders and tacos. All menu items are under $15 (except the 20 count of wings for $23). Old-School is open 11 a.m.-3 a.m. seven days a week.
