I don't know about you, but every group of gals I know made a weekly appointment to watch Sex and the City, choosing which characters they most identify with (like the grown-up equivalent of Barbies). In celebration of the release of the second SATC movie, tonight's Girls Night Out: Sex and the City 2 Party fashion bash takes that tradition to a grand scale, with a Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte-themed fashion contest (judged by "St. Pete's fashion experts," who choose prize-winners); a fashion and hair show by VLVT Salon; an SATC-themed dinner, dessert, and drink (my money's on some kind of pink martini); free wine from 8-10 p.m.; and music by DJ Ich, so you can shake what your mama gave you all night long. nova535.com.
