The formerly notorious Club B2T (Bottom to the Top) strip club at 1101 First Ave. North in St. Petersburg has a new identity: The Boundary American Grille & Tavern. Partners Jim Wilson and Jason Kingsley gutted the building, added windows, and rebuilt the stage and kitchen.
“We found $400 in singles under the old stage,” Wilson said. “But they took the brass poles with them when they closed.”
Chef Kingsley spent 15 years working in New York City, moving to Florida about six years ago. He was responsible for the much celebrated veggie-friendly menu at Meze 119.
The concept for the Boundary is a fusion of the best of American cuisine.
“We wanted to make something purely American,” Wilson said. “Using nothing but American ingredients.”
