Local nonprofit Hampton Arts Management is once again giving hope to innovative area artists with ambitious ideas and upcoming projects — ones on a smaller scale that don't usually attract funding from philanthropists.
These projects accent the cultural arts scene in new and inventive ways and help shape it as much, if not more, than the larger statues and murals that attract big dollars from big donors. Microgrants are one of the best new resources to help make fresh new ideas come to fruition, and everyday peeps can be benefactors.
Hampton Arts Management recently announced a brand new batch of microgrant recipients for the month of July. These microgrants will help promote and develop artistic communities in Tampa.
Hampton focuses on Artist Development, Audience Development, and Space Development. The microgrant series, Think Small to Think Big, provides financing for local arts projects.
