The most-ordered libations in these areas (and other locations like St. Pete and Gulfport, which Drizly entered back in February) include everything from wine and Fireball to vodka and Bud Light. Bay area folks have made Bud Light their No. 2 best-selling item, with Tito's Handmade Vodka being the first.
The rest of the region's top 10 sellers: Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka, Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Svedka Vodka, Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, Barefoot Pinot Grigio, Mark West Pinot Noir and Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey.
Drizly, launching in the Jacksonville, Miami and Orlando markets on Thursday, partners with ABC Fine Wine & Spirits to deliver booze to local doorsteps. One of its newest retail partners is Brandon Cross Liquors off Adamo Drive, and Thursday's launch will also expand Drizly delivery into Brandon, Clearwater and Largo.
The company's sales breakdown shows that Tampa Bay shoppers drink 6 percent more liquor and 11 percent less beer compared to average Drizly users, who sip 27 percent beer and 20 percent liquor.
