Fresh off unveiling his new flat tax plan, Texas Governor Rick Perry will be in Pinellas County early Wednesday morning, for a $1,000 a plate breakfast event at the TradeWinds Island Grant Resort from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
For the big rollers, a $2,500 contribution will entitle you to a VIP reception and an opportunity for a photo op with the candidate, who continues to show prowess with donors but not much in the polls.
But if you don't have any money to give to the campaign, there are some liberal activists who desperately want you to appear in front of the TradeWinds.
Those local activists and seniors will be protesting Perry regarding his comments on entitlement programs, specifically his comments about Social Security being a Ponzi scheme.
