Slow Food Sampler.The international Slow Food movement has opened a new chapter in Tampa Bay, dedicated to educating people about local food and promoting sustainable farming methods and that means a celebration is in store. For their first event, theyre throwing a Slow Food Sampler to introduce the concept to Tampa Bay. Locally-produced food is prepared by Chef Dave West of The Rolling Pin Kitchen Emporium of Brandon, Slow Food Tampa Bay board members are in the house to chat about the organization and upcoming events, and a live auction and raffle offers prizes like tickets to the Jack Johnson concert in Tampa.
