The Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club's three-week concert series is set to kick off this weekend in downtown St. Pete.
From 9 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, Bourbon, Beer and Bluegrass will feature live acoustic tunes from Wood & Wire, as well as a hefty helping of libations and food.
A craft beer tasting will accompany a bourbon and whiskey sampling of Jack Daniels Single Barrel, Old Forester and Woodford Reserve. Plus, a Southern-style food menu promises shrimp and smoked Cheddar grits, fried chicken osso buco, baby greens salad, balsamic honey-glazed pork belly, marinated bean salad and bourbon-glazed short rib.
The concert series will continue Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, followed by its final shows Oct. 7 and 8.
