The theme at the March edition of True Stories was "new," and everybody who got up and told a story on stage had a different take on it. In this clip, local writer and teacher, Cole Bellamy, tells us what's new in his life for the past 14 months. We did not see that coming.

No one knows what's going to happen, because anyone in the audience can put their name in the hat (they call it the "fuckit bucket", because it's a bucket), for the chance to get up on stage and tell a story. The May theme will be "goodbyes," and if you're called you get five minutes to tell your own real-life story. No props. No notes. At the end of the night, the audience will pick the “best” story, but the host is know for encouraging cheating. ("Stock the audience with your friends!") Random prizes are awarded, sometimes books, sometimes t-shirts.
