The Florida craft beer scene is definitely in full swing these days. From your novice home brewer to your friendly neighborhood Ale House carrying Shipyard and Stone amongst the persistent A-B products, one could say that the Benjamin Franklin quote, "There can’t be good living where there is not good drinking," sums up the mentality of the largest beer drinking state in the nation. The change from light tasteless prohibition beers has been growing ever so steadily throughout the last decade and many bars have taken full advantage of this “new” drinking crowd or the emerging “beer geekdom”. Yet with all of these choices of new tap rooms, craft friendly bars and beer fests, there seems to still be a disconnect with having craft beer being accepted in restaurants as wine or even spirits.
